October activities in Spain
We have been planting seeds in our school kitchen garden. We already have some small cabbage plants.
There are still hazelnuts but some of them have a surprise inside, Can you see the hole?
Some of us live in other villages and come to school by bus but the ones who live near the school like cycling when the weather is nice.
Spanish snails
We are preparing drawings for a contest organized by the local authorities. It is about mushrooms because normally at this time people go to the countryside to pick them and cook and eat them, yummy!!! Unfortunately this year we haven´t got any yet. Today (October 19th) it´s raining so let´s hope they start growing soon!!

Picking mushrooms is very common in Slovenia too! It's great to walk through autumn woods around Ljubljana!
