School breaks outside

It was sunny and warm (up to 19 degrees Celsius) all week long and we've already forgotten about snow .... Football is #1 again :)

We finally got a good amount of snow! School was closed yesterday because we had a snowstorm and we got 10 inches (25.4cm) of light, fluffy snow. It is gorgeous outside! We couldn't wait for recess. It was 14F/-10C outside, but the sun was shining and we were warm as toast. We made a video for you, and will post it soon. We have to enjoy the snow today, because the weather forecast for tomorrow is.... rain. Blech.

But who cares? Nothing beats playing in snow, even if there is -8 degrees Celsius ;-)

FOG IN SPAIN (Monday 28th)

When we arrived this morning it was really foggy!! The ones who come from villages in the mountains say the sun was shining up there but here in the valley it´s cold and wet :-(

Fog!

We had 10 inches of snow on 31 October, then we had very dense fog.  Now the snow is melted and we have fall temperatures again.

October weather news from Slovenia

After making our weather report for October, the weather changed.

One morning we found hoarfrost in our playground ... It was just a beginning ...

One day it started to snow ...

And these are our faces observing first snowflakes ...

In the late afternoon the snow situation looked like this ...

But till the next day all the snow dissapered :(
