                              The weather is very nice, there is about 20 degrees, no wind, no rain 
                                     only some clouds on the sky, however, the spring is OK!

Schools closed at 6^th of April and opened again at 23^rd of April.

We celebrated Easter.

DATE and TIME:  Wednesday 25th April, quarter past  twelve pm.

THE SKY: It is cloudy.

TEMPERATURE: 18C/ 64.4 F

WIND:  Strong wind from the south- east.

ANIMALS: Birds and in our villages there are lots of baby animals, It´s spring!!

PLANTS: Many trees have got flowers and the plants in our garden too. Our potato plants are growing fast.

CLOTHES: Clothes for rainy weather. It has been raining for almost a month : raincoats, boots, trousers......and we cannot forget the umbrella!!

GAMES: Indoor games

FAMILY ACTIVITIES: Look after the baby animals, help in the garden when it´s not raining, watching football and other things on tv.......

HOLIDAYS: We were on holiday from March 31st to April 9th (easter holiday). This next week we have a long weekend (4 days) because we celebrate Work day.

ANIMALS

Storks came to Poland about 3 weeks ago. There are more and more insects visible. Today during our trip around the school and to the playground we saw a huge dead beetle. We wondered what might have happened to it. We saw some ladybirds, ants and spiders too.

PLANTS

The grass is intensive green, flowers and trees bloom

CLOTHES

No more winter clothes! The children are wearing spring clothes: blouses, t-shirts, skirts, trousers

GAMES:

Cycling, rollerblading, playing football outside, walking. We are organizing English Karaoke Contest on the 11 May for the children from nearby schools. Hope it will be a success.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES:

Planting seeds, flowers, planting vegetables- carrot, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce

ASSOCIATIONS to today’s weather:

Warm but windy. Our feelings: joy, warmth, happy and relax.

OTHER

We are busy lately because of the English karaoke contest. We invited students from nearby schools and have to prepare the diplomas, decorations, all the technical stuff and record melodies for the songs. Sorry about the delay of our report L. Next month we will load some photos from the contest. Warm spring greetings to all partners!

football and other games with ball, playing in the playground, running, seek-and-hide game

April report - Croatia

CROATIA REPORT – APRIL

 DATE and TIME:

13th of April at 12.30 p.m.

Today is a warm, cloudy spring day.

THE SKY:

cloudy, grey

TEMRERATURE:

WIND:

There is no wind.

ANIMALS

The animals are busy. The birds are making their nests and sitting on eggs. The bugs are going around the trees and flowers. The bees are flying around the flowers. There are ants, too. Children play with their pets.

PLANTS

Plants are colourful and blooming. The flowers in the garden are beautiful. We can see tulips, daffodils, pansies, daisies and many more. The trees are getting greener and greener.

CLOTHES

People can wear T-shirts and sweatshirts, light jackets and sneakers. Some days are very warm. When it is raining, people take raincoats and umbrellas.

GAMES:

Games we play on P.E., hide and seek, catch, dodgeball, sea-land, day-night etc. To play sea-land all the students are in a column. If the teacher says sea, all the students go right and if the teacher says land, all the students go left. You have to be very attentive in this game to win!

FAMILY ACTIVITIES:

Walking, running, rollerskating, riding a bike, playing badminton, playing tennis, swimming in a pool, visiting town, shopping.

SPECIAL DAYS AND ACTIVITIES

·                     1st April – making jokes and doing pranks

·                     20th April – World Clean Up Day – we cleaned our village and everything around school and played games outside.

·                     22nd April – Earth Day – thinking about ecology and being responsible to our planet, protecting Earth
