Weather report central Poland *Buczek*

The leaves of the trees moved slightly.
ANIMALS
No- we only saw a stray dog
PLANTS
The grass is brownish . Lots of leaves (yellowish & brown) on the ground. We saw a strange thing. There were so many leaves that the cleaning service staff from our school were burning them in a fire! We have an evidence.
Besides we took some photos of a mountain ash and a poor hedge which looked really sad.
CLOTHES
Autumn clothes- long sleeve blouses, tights, sweaters, caps, gloves, scarves, heavy winter jackets

GAMES:

FAMILY ACTIVITIES:

ASSOCIATIONS to today’s weather:
cold, dark, smell of smoke, warm clothes

OTHER
We had a pumpkin contest for Halloween. The biggest pumpkin weighted 34,6 kilos! The photos will be attached to my November report in our project on eTwinning.

Weather Report from Christchurch, New Zealand

DATE AND TIME:  November 7 2011, 11.50 am.
TEMPERATURE:  23 degrees celcius.
WIND:  Slight breeze.

PLANTS:  Swan plants with caterpillars on.
CLOTHES:  Shorts and t-shirts.
ANIMALS OR INSECTS:  slugs, spiders, ants, centipedes, slater.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES:  going to the beach, going to the lake, barbeques, fireworks, gardening, athletics.
IN OUR PHOTO  we are going swimming in our school pool. It is a heated pool. We have lessons in the pool every day!

Fog!

We had 10 inches of snow on 31 October, then we had very dense fog.  Now the snow is melted and we have fall temperatures again.
