Spring in Maine

 Dandelion!

 Dandelion seeds

Our school garden. Right now there are lots of weeds, but we will be planting soon.

We picked some chives and tried them.

Chives are yummy!

Our chives are quite big; they are almost flowering.

Crab apple blossoms

Buttercup

 Forget-me-nots. Beautiful blue color!

It's FINALLY spring in Maine! The weather is beautiful, and it's getting warmer. Everything is growing, flowers are starting to bloom, and we are so glad to be able to wear shorts and sandals! We call Spring "Mud Season" here, because it rains a lot and everything is muddy. We like to make mud pies in the big puddle on our playground.

Hello to Croatia!
We wish we could send you some chives! Chives taste a little bit like onions, but they are not as strong, so we like them better.
